Aerogel Powder _複製

The specially developed aerogel powder is a patented product of our company.It has the characteristics of high porosity, high specific surface area, low density, low thermal conductivity, etc.
It can be applied to industries such as textiles and plastic materials. The composite materials produced have excellent thermal insulation properties and light weight.

The aerogel powder produced by our company has a large number of pore structures, which is very different from commercially available aerogel powder. Because aerogel has high porosity, it has excellent thermal insulation.

Currently market available aerogels are uneven in size, and different shapes.  Some aerogel particles are even broken.  Our hydrophilic aerogel powder is uniform in size with spherical shape in sub-micron size (350 nm).

There are three categories of Aerogel Powder produced by our company, which are hydrophilic, surface modified, and hydrophobic aerogel powder. The relevant properties are listed below:

Application

The product can withstand high temperature up to 800°C for a long period of time. There are different types of hydrophilic products and surface modification, which can be used for various industrial needs and applications.

After the surface modification of the aerogel powder, the combination of various materials such as PU, PMMA, Nylon, and PET is increased.
These products could be used in functional textile spinning and post-processing coating as well as in general application of plastic weight-reducing areas. 

Hydrophobic Aerogel Powder of sub-micron size of particles is used especially in functional textile spinning and post-processing coating; while the micron size of particles are used in general plastic weight-reducing application areas.
